Fire Station Open House

We went to an open house at the local fire station....wow what a show they put on. We did a ride in the fire truck, pet the mounted patrol horse, watched the jaws of life tear apart a car, firemen put out a fire they set, and as you can see sat in the rescue helicoptor. Pretty cool!!!

Apple Orchard

Apple picking!! Our usual orchard closed so we tried a new one this year.....as you can see we had success!!!

Amazing how once again time gets away from me. I figured I have some fun pics from our crazy July so I might as well post a blog! We spent the beginning part of July visiting my parents in CO....then we had Chad's parents and Collin in for a week and topped it all off with a visit from Larissa, Craig (the boys), Scottie & Lexi.....PHEW!!!! They say a picture is worth a thousand words so I'll let these speak for themselves:

Ty's Bday Party!!

Ty's 4th birthday party was a success. We decided for one more year we would do party here at the house...more for the adults and less about all the kids. Needless to say though with 8 kids it was still a blast!!!

Birthdays Coming Up!!!!

I cannot believe that in April Ty will turn 4 and Emma will be 1...where did the time go!!??!!!!

It's been awhile since my last update so here are a few things going on:

Ty cut his own bangs and thus endured a head shaving from Chad...proof of the "incident".

Emma is now walking (6 steps or so at a time) and of course I get to play dress the baby up!!!

Chad's new hunting dog Jack arrived...he is a machine in the field and still a pup in the house...
